What do you do with the waste?
The waste is taken to a commercial recycling centre where it is separated into recyclable and non recyclable materials. We will always recycle as much as we possibly can. If it can be recycled or re used, it will be.
Can you take my waste to the council recycling centre?
Please change answer to: We cannot take your domestic waste to the local council recycling centre. When you pay us for our service your domestic waste becomes commercial waste!
What items / types of waste can't we uplift?
Please change answer to: We cannot uplift asbestos. There is very little else we cannot dispose of though some items will incur and extra charge such as mattresses, gas bottles, fridges / freezers and tyres. If in doubt please just give us a call.
Are you registered waste carriers?
Yes! We are registered to carry waste with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (Sepa) Registration number WCR/R/1097722
How do we pay you?
We can accept both cash and BACS payments. Unfortunately, we are unable to take payment over the phone.
Can you empty wheelie bins with mixed / wrong waste?
Yes we can empty all or any waste bins.
What do you charge / how do you calculate your prices?
We will simply add the time / labour cost and add it to the cost to us for disposal. We can give an estimation with a description or photos of what needs taken away and will give a final quotation when we physically see the work to be carried out. We make sure that a price is agreed before we start so that there are no surprises at the end.
Do I have to be at the property?
No, we can collect keys from an agent / neighbor / friend if you cannot be there in person.
Can reusable / saleable items be given to charity?
Yes we can do this for you so long as your arrange this beforehand.
