Fly Tipping CLEARANCE
Industrial estates and quiet roads are a favourite for the fly tipper.
Another common example of the type of fly tipping that we clear up is shared bin areas in blocks of flats where 1 or 2 residents can abuse the waste system, placing excess waste in the wrong area or filling other residents bins.
As you can see in the photos if it gets to the stage where no one can get their bins out for collection the problem escalates quickly.
Property Prepared are fully insured and Sepa registered waste carriers so you can be assured that any waste will be disposed of lawfully. You can find us on the Sepa website here: http://apps.sepa.org.uk/rocas/
We are fully committed to recycling and will divert as much waste as is possible away from landfill.
Every piece of waste we collect is separated into recyclable and non recyclable materials. We will always recycle as much as we possibly can.
Please note: Always check that anyone collecting waste is a registered waste carrier, a respectable established business and is fully insured. Much of the fly tipped waste we collect has already been paid for to be disposed of but the carrier has decided to increase profits by not paying for responsible disposal.
Individuals and businesses alike are held responsible for any waste which is fly tipped. Even if you have paid for the service and your waste is found fly tipped, you will still be help accountable!
Our vehicles have a large carrying capacity of up to 18m3 or 24yd3
To put this into perspective this is how this capacity compares to a skip:
|Classic builder’s skip||6yd3||4.5m3|
|Large builder’s skip||8yr3||6m3|
|Maxi builder’s skip||10yd3||7.5m3|
|Large Maxi skip||12yd3||9m3|
We can carry up to 4 times more than a standard builders skip and up to 3 times more than a large builders skip.
This coupled with the fact that as this is what we do all day, everyday, we will fit more into a given space than you will!
